化学 is the study of matter, 它的属性, how 而且 why substances combine or separate to form other substances, 而且 how substances interact with 能源. Many people think of chemists as being white-coated scientists mixing strange liquids in a laboratory, but the truth is we are all chemists. 化学 is part of everything in our lives. 

化学 is involved in everything we do, from growing 而且 cooking food to cleaning our homes 而且 bodies to launching a space shuttle. 化学 is one of the physical sciences that help us to describe 而且 explain our world.

化学研究 has led to the discovery 而且 development of new 而且 improved synthetic fibres, 油漆, 粘合剂, 药物, 化妆品, 电子元件, 润滑剂, 而且 thous而且s of other products. 化学 spurs advances in medicine, 农业, 法医科学, food processing 而且 other fields.

 

To study 化学, you need to be both dedicated 而且 interested in the subject.

化学 is a practical subject hence good practical 技能 are useful 而且 you will develop these throughout the course. A level 化学 is a challenging, though fascinating, subject. To excel in 化学, you need to have strong literacy 而且 numeracy 技能. 化学 will help you to develop research, problem solving 而且 分析 技能. It will help to you challenge ideas 而且 show how you to work out problems through 逻辑 而且 一步一步的推理.
